The mission of the I Have a Dream� Foundation of Boulder County (IHAD) is to facilitate and promote life-long learning, school success and self-sufficiency in its �adopted� children (Dreamers) and their families through long-term extensive educational and support services. Adoption is defined as the process by which at-risk youth are selected to receive post-secondary school scholarships and the long-term support needed to stay in school and achieve their personal, academic and vocational goals. These Dreamers are from diverse ethnic, social and economic backgrounds and are encouraged to recognize that, with the proper education and focus, they can realize their Dreams.
The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is a federation of 85-plus hiking and environmental organizations and 10,000 individuals dedicated to building and maintaining marked hiking trails and protecting the related open space in the bistate region. Our constituent clubs have a combined membership of more than 100,000.
